Introduction

General Remarks

The Political Science/International Relations Bachelor 3-year program with Profile in EU Legislation & Politics is newly designed as part of the Jean Monnet Center of Excellence that UNYT has been granted this academic year. It is a program that will try to combine the knowledge of public policy & political affairs as well as international relations and foreign policy with EU Law & Politics. It becomes crucially important especially now that Albania is soon to open the negotiation chapters for prospective accession in the European Union. The negotiations of the 35 chapters which will be the main task of any Albanian government in the next decade, will require a great number of specialists to work in public administration as well as project coordinators and managers for a variety of NGOs and companies that will apply for EU related funds and offer their technical skills and expertise. We value this new bachelor program to offer a unique possibility to Albanian students, by receiving a first-class international standard education at UNYT.
