Introduction

General Remarks 


Upon successful completion of the Political Science and International Relations program students will be able to:

  • demonstrate in-depth knowledge of a variety of concepts and theories with which political science and international relations phenomena can be understood and interpreted;
  • demonstrate foundational knowledge of the international aspects of Economics, Society and Culture, Communication and Media, of History and the historical background of modern issues of political and international significance, of International Law and Organizations, of International Business and issues pertaining to International Security, War and Peace, and Diplomacy;
  • analyze social, political, economic, cultural and religious issues of critical concern to modern globalized societies and address policies to face them;
  • show an understanding of global issues;
  • demonstrate an understanding of the principles and theories of ethical decision-making and their practical implications in political sciences and international relations;
  • have a foundation in sciences and liberal studies as delivered through the General Education program;
  • pursue postgraduate studies or professional qualifications in the fields of Political Science and International Relations.
