Upon successful completion of the Psychology program students will be able to:

demonstrate in-depth knowledge about the understanding and the explanation of the human behaviour, thoughts and feelings.
demonstrate familiarity with empirical findings of various psychological phenomena.
demonstrate a good knowledge of various psychological theories that study human personality, by pointing out contributions and limitations for each.
demonstrate knowledge of the physical, emotional, cognitive and personality changes that occur during each developmental stage of the individual’s lifespan.
demonstrate an understanding of the principles of human learning, memory, thinking, judgement and problem solving.
demonstrate an understanding and an evaluation of psychological research and psychological writings.
demonstrate an understanding and differentiation of major psychological disorders, diagnosis and treatment.
demonstrate an understanding of the role of heredity and environment in producing changes in physical, intellectual and social behaviour throughout life.
