We proudly announce that UNYT renewed its dual degree agreement with SUNY Empire State College (ESC) for another five years till 2027. The signing ceremony was held in Prague at the University of New York in Prague (UNYP) premises between the representatives of SUNY ESC, UNYT, and the Turkish Maarif Foundation.
The Chairman of the UNYT Board of Directors and the Member of the Turkish Maarif Foundation Board of Directors and Board of Trustees, Mr. Mahmut M. Özdil; the Head of European and Balkan Countries Department at the Turkish Maarif Foundation, Mr. Kemal Bulut; the President of SUNY ESC, Dr. Lisa Vollendorf; the Rector of UNYT, Prof. Dr. Erkan Erdemir; the Vice-rector of UNYT, Prof. Dr. Nertila Gjini; and the Director of SUNY ESC European Programs, Dr. Sheila Aird were present at the ceremony.
They also discussed extending the scope of the cooperation between SUNY ESC and UNYT and possible ways of collaboration between SUNY ESC and the Turkish Maarif Foundation. The UNYT team greeted the founder of UNYP, Mr. Elias Foutsis, who also founded UNYT 20 years ago.
